About the Role
Caregiver: Part Time - Evening Shift 7 pm - 10 pm
A professional caregiver is responsible for helping client maintain their personal health,
hygiene and independence in their place of residence.
DUTIES (will be trained)
- support the care of a spinal cord injury client
- follow prescribed healthcare plan
- support daily PT and OT therapies
- transportation to medical/other appointments (client vehicle)
- serve as a companion to client
- maintain a safe and comfortable home environment
RESPONSIBILITIES (will be trained)
- organize medical supplies
- provide medication reminders
- assist client with dressing, grooming
- lift transfers (chair/vehicle)
- care records and reporting
- prepare meals
- perform light housekeeping tasks (laundry, beds, dishes, trash)
- shopping and errands
SKILLS
- well-organized and reliable
- excellent communication
- flexibility
- uphold strict confidentiality and privacy
- use of basic health equipment (temp, pulse, respiration)

Requirements
REQUIREMENTS
- education - high school diploma
- physical stamina, ability to lift 40 pounds
- ability to work evening shift, occassional weekends
- good driving record, reliable transportation
- background check
